Celebrity March 2011 Quotes: Your Favorite?

Celebrities have definitely made some memorable quotes over the years, but some are more memorable than others of course. We thought we'd take a look at some of the more recent celebrity quotes (although they may not be that memorable), and then ask our readers what their favorites are.

One celebrity that appears to have made the list is American country singer, songwriter and actor Billy Ray Cyrus, who according to Miss Morgan over at comedyortragedyblog.blogspot.com was recently quoted as saying 'It destroyed my family.' By that he actually means the Hannah Montana show.

Another quote that made the list is 'Oprah fired me for talking about Jesus.' Now what's interesting about this quote is the fact that it comes from Jo Baldwin, who is not just someone who worked for Oprah but is also the legendary talk show host's own cousin!!

One final quote worth mentioning comes from Charlie Sheen, who was quoted as saying: 'I am on a drug. It's called Charlie Sheen. It's not available.' You can read other interesting quotes of 2011 over at comedyortragedyblog.blogspot.com. What are your favorites?

Strange Celebrity News Stories in March 2011

Every now and again we like to take a look back at some of the most recent celebrity news stories, and this week has definitely been a strange week in regards to celebrity news. Not only have we had news of Chris Brown's backstage antics at GMA, but also a story about Wyclef Jean being shot.

As Trenton Daniel at sacbee.com noted, the Haiti-born singer – who has been in Haiti recently helping his friend's presidential campaign – was just getting out of his car to make a phone call, when a bullet hit him in the hand. Jean said that he wasn't sure who fired the shots, or if they were actually directed at him.

Another celebrity news story that's surfaced this week is about former New York Giants linebacker Lawrence Taylor, who according to Jim Fitzgerald was recently sentenced to six years probation following his guilty plea to sexual misconduct, as well as patronizing an underage prostitute.

Taylor has now got to register as a sex offender. There's one last story that we just couldn't leave out, and that is the news that Tiger Woods has supposedly got himself a new girlfriend. According to reports, 35-year old Woods is now dating 22-year old university student Alyse Lahti.

Angry Birds Trailer: Latest Viral Video

Imagine what it would be like if Michael Bay – the director of movies such as Bad Boys, The Rock, The Island and the Transformers films – was to make a movie based on the hugely popular Angry Birds game. Well now you don't have to thanks to a recent spoof from Rooster Teeth.

According to Martin Bryant over at thenextweb.com, the guys at Rooster Teeth have created a great spoof vision of Angry Birds: the Movie (as directed by Michael Bay), just to show us exactly what a live action Angry Birds movie would be like. We've embedded the video below so you can see for yourself.

The viral video involves the murder of two of the nation's top ornithologists, a secret weapon that the government has been developing for years (a slingshot), and fortresses made of wood and glass, pigs and of course, Angry Birds!! Celebrity Plastic Surgery: Rate the Worst

Although there are celebrities out there that are happy with their looks and choose to grow old gracefully, there are plenty of others who would rather change their appearances in some way or find ways to remain young-looking. This of course includes hair transplants and many kinds of plastic surgery.

However, as Sheila over on the allwomenstalk.com website previously noted, not all stars look better once they've had the plastic surgery done. In fact, Sheila has provided a list of twenty celebrities with bad plastic surgery. The list includes Victoria Beckham, Priscilla Presley and even Fergie from the Black Eyed Peas.

It's actually hard to believe that the two images are of the same person in Fergie's case, and I personally can't see why she needed plastic surgery. The same can probably be said about Nikki Cox, who despite looking perfectly fine decided to go and have her lips done anyway.

Donatella Versace is another prime example. Donatella has had so many plastic surgery procedures done over the years; she's now starting to look like a caricature of her former self.
