| Dr. Luke Sues Over Britney Spears Song Posted: 02 Mar 2011 03:49 PM PST In January 2011, The Bellamy Brothers publicly claimed that Britney Spears’ new song, “Hold It Against Me” was a complete and total ripoff of their song, “If I Said You Had A Beautiful Body Would You Hold It Against Me?” Wow, that was a mouthful, wasn’t it? Even the biggest of trolls could realize that it’s not the same song, but still, they opened that “copycat” can of worms.  Now, Britney’s songwriter, Lukasz “Dr. Luke” Gottwald is busting a legal cap in the Bellamy Brothers for launching their reported smear campaign. The claws are coming out! Dr. Luke says that the Bellamy Brothers attack was a “publicity stunt aimed to increase their record sales…and to combat their dwindling relevance.” Snap! In addition to damages for the supposed defamation, Dr. Luke says that he also wants a court order stating that Britney’s song has nothing to do with their song. That should settle it! Why? Probably because Charlie Sheen was obviously busy donating tiger blood to warlocks. [He's a rock star from Mars, remember?] And here I thought “Rolling Stone” was a magazine that was dedicated to musicians?!?? | Charlie Sheen Loses Children; Says It’s Not An Act Posted: 02 Mar 2011 07:20 AM PST It’s been a month of madness for Charlie Sheen. With his show canceled, the actor has been talking to just about anyone who will listen. It’s funny, but only for a minute. You can joke at the “Sheen-isms” and have a chuckle at how he made fun of Nancy Grace, but it has become a sad, sad situation. His “20/20″ interview aired last night and that in itself left us with some fresh crazy, but things just got real.  Yesterday, his ex-wife, Brooke Mueller, tried to get custody of their children, Max and Bob. She was rejected on that front, because it wasn’t her day to have them. Then, she went to a judge and claimed that Charlie snagged the kids about a week ago and withheld them from her. She also said that he threatened her, saying, “I will cut your head off, put it in a box and send it to your mom.” As for why she left their little Bahama party? She claims that he punched her in the arm, spat on her feet and threatened to stab her in the eye with a pen knife. In the restraining order filing, she said, “I am very concerned that Sheen is currently insane. I am in great fear that he will find me and attack me and I am in great fear for the children’s safety while in his care.” So the cops came after his latest interview last night and swiped the children from him. So sad, really. He might be insane, but you can tell that he does love his children. Still, Charlie says that this is not an act. That’s really what we’re all asking right about now. Is this some craziness to get another network deal or is he really just that crazy? What do you think? |
| Posted: 02 Mar 2011 06:42 AM PST Hi, I’m Renna, and I’m a trekkie. There, I feel so much better getting that out of my system. Now we can continue. J.J. Abrams managed to get me hooked to his re-booted Star Trek film despite much hesitation on my part. I must say that even though he totaled the previous Trek universe, the new one he created left me giddy.
About a month ago, there was concern that the sequel would not meet it’s June 29th 2012 theater debut. Apparently, the script is yet to be completed. OH NO! Don’t despair my friends, according to ‘Scotty’ Simon Pegg‘s twitter, the script is now done and is “amazeballs and I cannot wait!” That being said, what do we really know about the film’s plot anyhow? Fans everywhere wanted another Khan film. I personally do not. You cannot replace Ricardo Montalban as Khan. Period. End of story. So who will be the villain in the next installment? Well, I’ve got two guesses on that. #1 The Talosians. In the original mythos, the Talosians kidnap Captain Pike and basically turn him into a vegetable. This paves the way for James T. Kirk to take the Enterprise‘s helm. Ok, so they changed that part for the new film. But that doesn’t mean that they can’t make an appearance and kidnap Admiral Pike, does it? My second guess is that they are gonna go with Trelane. Don’t know who that is? Well, just picture ‘Q‘ from the Next Generation and Liberace’s lovechild. There you’ve got Trelane. He’s a troublemaker, but fun to watch. So now that things are back on track at Starfleet Headquarters, I’m going to sign off and let you guys tell me who you think would be a good villain for the sequel. Pre-production is set to begin this summer, and I can’t WAIT to see it in the theaters. Stonebridge out! |

| Dancing With The Stars Season 12 Cast Posted: 01 Mar 2011 09:46 AM PST I am still baffled how this show manages to stay on air and get decent ratings. But I guess people like it. This season has another group of
ABC announced their ‘all-star’ line-up yesterday. Here’s the list. Chelsea Kane – Some chick from something to do with Disney(???) I guess the most surprising addition to this year’s cast is Kirstie Alley, who just six months ago insisted that she would not appear on the show. So what made her change her mind? A friend of Alley’s is quoted as saying; “She wasn’t ready last season. Mentally and physically she just couldn’t get her head around doing the show. Kirstie just turned 60, so I think she decided to take on her fear before it was too late.” The 2 hour premiere airs on ABC on Monday March 21st. | Katie Holmes Suing Star Magazine Posted: 01 Mar 2011 08:01 AM PST Katie Holmes is gearing up to sue “Star” magazine over their claims that she is using drugs! A couple of weeks ago, the tabloid ran their “Katie Holmes Drug Shocker” story, promptly upsetting the actress to the point of a lawsuit!  The cover cites drugs as the “real reason she can’t leave Tom”, suggesting that she is addicted to some kind of drugs. The inside of the magazine doesn’t go into any kind of detail about her reported addiction, but the cover in itself is defamatory. Her rep said, “The cover is libelous no matter what they say inside the magazine.” I agree. The cover is very suggestive that Katy is deeply involved with drug use. They are always using Katie as a means to sell magazines with their “she’s tortured” headlines, making it sound like she’s absolutely miserable in her marriage to Tom Cruise. He’s looking decent, but somewhat Photoshopped! I don’t know, maybe it’s just me, but it’s an odd tone for a magazine cover, don’t you think?  The cover is for the April issue of the magazine and was shot by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Robert took the photos on break from filming “Breaking Dawn”. Rutler was arrested for a DUI and his bail was set at $30,000. The blond songstress was charged with public intoxication. Is it just me, or is everyone in Hollyweird an alcoholic these days?
I don’t know about you, but it’s starting to look like alcoholism in Hollywood is an excuse to be a moron. I mean everyone in the whole town can’t be THIS messed up, can they? Apparently friends of Aguilera aren’t surprised and have been trying to get the singer into rehab for weeks now. Wow lady, talk about a downgrade. You had the producer husband who lifted your career to new heights and then you dumped his arse for this loser who keeps you drunk off your skull and gets you arrested? Good choice. |
